Return to cyberspace - at last...

Well it's been far too long, but andrewcharman.co.uk is back. Some very serious technical issues have prevented this website being updated for several months, for which I sincerely apologise. Only a complete hard drive failure, which resulted in virtual renewal of my Mac, has enabled me to at last resolve the problem and return online.

In fact this is effectively a holding message – a lot has happened to my career in recent months, so much that a new website ia needed – this is something that I am now designing, inbetween a rather heavy work load.

You see my career now has two very distinct strands – the motoring as before, though these days dominated by indsutry wirting for the likes of Motor Trader, and now the new rail side. Since late last year I have edited a bi-monthly railway magazine called Narrow Gauge World, and since early this year I have also been acting as Production Editor on a monthly magazine for garden railway enthusiasts called, you guessed it, GardenRail. So a new, two-pronged website is in the offing, hopefully before too long, but in the meantime should you wish to find out more about my rail titles you can do so at www.atlanticpublishers.com

Now that I am back in action - and it was really a case of finding a way to get back into my own website - you can expect more regular updates. There are pages on the site that are very out-of-date, but these will be left up for information purposes until superseded by the new site.

Meanwhile should you be looking for a conscientious , experienced and skilled journalist, for motoring work or otherwise, I'm still open to offers! I am particularly keen to secure a new road test column following the end of my previous newspaper column, and I can bring to the table something refreshingly different to the norm.
